みいクリニック
渋谷区本町で50年以上、地元のかかりつけ医として診察を行ってきた伊村診療所の伊村医師のこころを引き継ぎ、新たに「まちのお医者さん」として開院することになった、地域密着型のクリニックの内装設計。「カフェのような診療所を」という院長のお話しから、地域の人が気軽に訪れる事ができるような温かい待合空間を目指した。家具はアーティスト、康 夏奈氏によるアート作品が貼られたキューブボックスで構成され、子供でもレイアウトを自在に変えることができる。キューブボックスの絵は3次元方向に木々の絵が連続するので、訪れる子供達も楽しくキューブの配置を楽しむ事ができる楽しい仕掛けとなっている。実際にカウンセリングや、クリスマスのマーケットなど、様々なイベントに使われている。
This project involves the interior design of a community-based clinic that carries on the legacy of Dr. Imura, who served as the local family doctor at Imura Clinic in Honmachi, Shibuya, for over 50 years. The new clinic was established with the vision of becoming the neighborhood’s trusted doctor. Inspired by the director’s request for “a clinic that feels like a café,” the goal was to create a warm and welcoming waiting area where local residents can feel at ease visiting.
The furniture is composed of cube boxes adorned with artwork by artist Kana Kou. These cubes can be freely rearranged, even by children, allowing the layout to be easily customized. The artwork on the cubes features continuous images of trees in three dimensions, creating an engaging and playful environment where children can enjoy experimenting with different arrangements.
The space is not limited to medical use; it also serves as a venue for various events, including counseling sessions and Christmas markets, fostering a versatile and lively community atmosphere.
